Where My Writers At?

Turning monologues into immersive worlds—one sound at a time.

Where My Writers At? is a monologue-based podcast mini-series that explores immersive storytelling through sound. Created by emerging screenwriters Devin Altman and Joshua Vasquez—graduates of San Francisco State University—the series showcases scripts from a range of writers, brought to life through audio.

As the lead audio engineer, I was responsible for the complete sound production process. This included recording voice actors, performing Foley work, designing original soundscapes, and editing and mixing each episode to craft a cinematic listening experience. Collaborating with creatives from outside my immediate field gave me the unique opportunity to expand my storytelling techniques and build entire worlds using nothing but sound.
